For the quickest service, pick up mosquitofish directly at our District Office in Lakeport.  We offer them from May 1 through October 31 (weather permitting). Call us first at (707) 263-4770 to confirm availability.  This ensures you get your mosquitofish when you need them!

I got mosquitofish from you last year, but I don't see them anymore. Do I need to get more fish?   Probably not!  If you picked up mosquitofish in previous years, they're probably still there (unless their container dried out!).  Mosquitofish move to lower depths and hibernate in the winter.  Look for signs of your mosquitofish in the afternoons on warmer days in winter and early spring.  

Delivery is available.  If you cannot come to the District in Lakeport, then you can request a mosquitofish delivery to your residence.  Complete the Service Request below and your vector control technician will contact you to schedule a time to deliver fish to your location.  To ensure a smooth delivery, please be available to meet the technician or leave a clean, 5-gallon bucket in a shaded location for the fish.  Delivery may take several weeks.
